Mr. Miajee Md. Shaifulla Shobhan joined as the Director General of the Directorate of IT and Public Services Audit on 21st September 2023. Before joining this directorate he was Senior Finance Controller of SFC (Works). He has also served the department as Director General of Defence Audit Directorate,  Senior Finance Controller of SFC (Navy), Financial  Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer of FA & CAO (Project), Bangladesh Railway, Director Finance of office of the ADG (Finance), Bangladesh Railway, Dhaka, Addl. FA&CAO(East),Bangladesh Railway, chottogram, Finance Controller of FC (army) pay 1 & 2. He was also Joint Finance Controller of JFC (AIR Force), Chief Accounts and Finance Officer  of  CAFO IRD, T&T and ministry of primary and mass education. Mr. Miajee is a member of  BCS (Audit & Accounts) cadre of 15 Batch . He has started his civil service career as Assistant Accountant General  in Financial Management Academy (FIMA) in November 15, 1995. After that he has served the department as Assistant Director of Defence Audit Directorate, Assistant  Chief Accounts and Finance Officer of CAFO health, Deputy Finance Controller of ACCDF (BOF) and Director of Civil & Revenue Audit Directorate. During his long service, he has visited several countries like South Africa, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Pakistan, Sri lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Vietnam, Philippines, Russia and Portugal for government Audit purpose.

Mr. Miajee Md. Shaifulla Shobhan was born in a respectable Muslim family of Bhauria village of Daudkandi thana of Cumilla District in 15th September, 1968. He has passed SSC in 1983 from kawadi high schoool and HSC in 1985 from Chottogram govt. College. He has graduated from Bangladesh Agriculture University, Mymensing in 1989. Personally he is happily married with one son and one daughter
